Gaiting Video Segments

Below are links to individual video segments demonstrating each of the signature gaits of the Tennessee Walking Horse.  I wanted to put these on my site because there is such confusion about what these gaits are and should look like.  Because so many TWH do a wide variety of easy-gaits, I wanted to give people the opportunity to visualize correctly executed signature gaits.

The horses featured here are National Grand Champion pleasure Tennessee Walking Horse, Papa's Royal Delight, his oldest daughter, Papa's Graceful Spirit and Lelani's Amazing Grace: a 4 yr old tobiano mare owned by Cynthia Natzke, that is quickly become quite proficient in her execution.  All these horses are keg shod or barefoot, with short balanced toes and most clips are filmed using D ring snaffle bits.

You'll see them execute in balanced self-carriage.   I hope you enjoy and learn.
