SATURDAY - Schedule - 9 am start Developing the Canter in Gaited Horses Balanced riding for independent seat and lighter hands Training and Extending the Walk Gaiting on the trail Training the Side Pass for Mount Up
Notes for Participants: - I recommend using the mildest bit you feel comfortable with, however safety always comes first!
- I always recommend safety helmets for all riders - I REQUIRE THEM for anyone under 18 yrs.
- Clinic Application (CLICK)
- Riders need to arrive at least 30 minutes before start of clinic.
- Bring a completed clinic application with you if you have not previously sent it in or allow time to complete one before starting. No riders will be allowed to participate without completing the release form that is included in the application. Minors must have the signature of a parent/guardian.
- First half of the day includes all riders and horses in the arena. After lunch we will schedule riders two at a time, one working with Anita while the second is "on deck". As each rider finishes the next scheduled rider will tack up and get "on deck".
